Full Description
****NEW WAIVER REQUIREMENT - SEE BELOW****

This is a physically demanding four hour Instructor course. You will review correct striking techniques utilizing an expandable baton. The day will be split between classroom work, practical training and teaching the basic academy recruits. Instructors should be in good physical condition and be prepared to train outdoors.

What to Bring:
*  Tactical pants and a polo shirt
*  Expandable baton
*  Duty belt and vest
*  A laptop/smart device - All instructor tests will now be completed online.  Please come to class with an electronic device capable of accessing your Acadis account (laptop, smart phone or tablet).

Certified Expandable Baton instructor status will be renewed until 12/31/2029.

**NEW WAIVER REQUIREMENT**
This training requires a liability waiver to attend. You must attach a dual-signed liability waiver, by both the enrolled individual and the agency head, to this registration in order to meet the pre-requisites for enrollment approval. If your waiver is not attached or not signed, your enrollment request will be denied. You cannot hold or save a spot for the training before you turn in your liability waiver.

The current liability waivers can be found in the Acadis Academy Resources Document Library. Please ensure you have selected and filled out the correct waiver, or your request for enrollment will be denied.
