Full Description
Designed for multi-disciplinary practitioners, this  8-hour course examines best practices in survivor advocacy, trauma response, and legal proceedings. Attendees will explore the physiological effects of trauma on memory, review recent legal developments, and master strategies for expert testimony preparation. Key topics also cover cross-agency collaboration and navigating specialized support systems, including Victim Assistance Division resources, forensic medical examination, and the SAFE center services.
